How Small Steps Made a Big Impact

Small, thoughtful changes to everyday processes often yield more significant results for a solopreneur than big, dramatic overhauls. After eight years of managing multiple clients and calendars, Janel Kinlaw refined her workflow by transitioning from analog to digital tools, such as moving meeting notes into OneNote for quicker referencing and replacing printed planners with Google Tasks for better flexibility,. Beyond software, she found that shifting from a strictly home office environment to a co-working space surprisingly boosted her productivity through increased social interaction. By pausing to reflect on long-standing routines, solopreneurs can identify “little efficiencies” that allow them to work smarter, not harder
