All Eyes on Milwaukee for #AIIP23
By the AIIP External Communications Committee
“Invest in yourself and your business.”
Those are the encouraging words from AIIP president Denise Carter for anyone looking to start or grow an independent information business. One way to make that investment is to attend AIIP’s annual conference in April. We’re meeting in person for the first time since 2019, and Milwaukee will be our host for networking, learning sessions, great speakers, and most of all, you.
How do attendees benefit from attending an AIIP conference? Here are some responses from recent discussions and blogs:
“I attended my first AIIP conference before I even launched my
business … and it was one of the smartest business decisions I made. I learned lessons
there that I never would have learned from reading – in fact, there was
a panel discussion on “the biggest mistakes I made.” The time and
money I saved from not making the same mistakes was more than the cost
to attend the conference.”
“AIIP conferences are interactive, engaging, thought-provoking, and most importantly warm and welcoming to all. Attending in person gives me the opportunity to take part in interactions and conversations that would not be possible otherwise … that’s what makes the AIIP conference so valuable – it is modeled specifically to help business owners with a unique specialty in information.”
“As someone who is both a subcontractor and a referral source, I highly
prioritize people I’ve met face to face at an AIIP conference. I know
you, I’ve talked with you, and know that I can rely on your work to
protect MY reputation.”
“Every session [at the first conference I attended] was valuable, and the ability to network with like-minded entrepreneurs was invigorating … I have deepened my connections with other independent business owners and found collaborators to partner with on projects to help our businesses grow. Each year during the annual conference, I have continued to strengthen bonds with my fellow entrepreneurs, and I always find fresh insights and valuable takeaways to immediately apply to my business. In fact, my business acumen has grown exponentially since joining AIIP and attending my first conference …”
AIIP will host a #AIIP23 conference preview on Wednesday, February 15th from 12:00-12:45 p.m. Eastern Time. AIIP members will talk about their past conference experiences, sessions they are looking forward to at #AIIP23, and the benefits of attending a conference workshop. They’ll discuss the opportunities for attendees to introduce themselves, learn, engage, and network at #AIIP23. The preview is free and open to AIIP members and non-members, but registration is required.
